Solenta Aviation Workshop (Pty) Ltd is a South African Civil Aviation approved Aircraft Maintenance Organisation with Certificate No. 874.

Solenta Aviation Workshop is certified to perform aircraft maintenance planned by the Solenta Group’s own in-house Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) located at Solenta Aviation’s offices in Fourways, Johannesburg, South Africa.

Established in 2001, Solenta Aviation Workshop is co-located in the Solenta Aviation offices in Fourways, Johannesburg with its main aircraft maintenance facility at OR Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg, South Africa.

Fully equipped for line and scheduled maintenance including hot section inspections, rebuilds, refurbishment, overhauls and avionics installations.

Solenta Aviation Workshop is currently rated to perform line and scheduled maintenance on the following engine types:

  • PW Canada PT6A series
  • PW Canada 120/121 series
  • PW Canada 124/127 series
  • Rolls Royce AE3007A series
  • General Electric GE H80-200 series

 

Solenta Aviation Workshop has approvals from the following country’s Civil Aviation Authorities allowing Solenta Aviation Workshop to perform aircraft maintenance on aircraft registered by the authority of that country:

  • South Africa (ZS)
  • Gabon (TR)
  • Ivory Coast (TU)
  • Mozambique (C9)

 

Solenta Aviation Workshop seeks approvals to work on aircraft that are registered in different countries, dependent upon aircraft lease contract requirement. These approvals are then later allowed to lapse, as and when the underpinning contracts come to an end. Examples of such countries are:

  • Angola (lapsed Jul 2015)
  • Botswana (lapsed Aug 2012)
  • Ghana (lapsed May 2015)
  • Kenya (lapsed Jun 2015)
  • Malawi (lapsed Jun 2015)
